Step into a dreamscape of sound with pianist Vanessa Sharman, a meditative journey through the evening hours into sleep and dawn.

Featuring 30 short works by 17 Australian composers aged 18 to 94, this program ranges from personal lullabies written for family to pieces commissioned specially for this project.

Spanning four segments – from twilight to deep night and the arrival of morning – Vanessa captures the timeless and nostalgic nature of lullabies and translates it into solo piano pieces.

A long-time champion of Australian music whose career has taken her from Tasmania to Paris and beyond, Vanessa brings warmth and imagination to the project.

Be prepared to float on home on a cloud.
